i REALLY like the Native. i know theres new designs and knives that Spyderco has produced, but it really is hard to beat as an edc.
quality, size, weight and blade design really make that knife a winner imo.

My 15 year old Delica became my EDC out of necessity. I worked at a bulk food store and we were constantly opening huge bags of product to dump into the bins. I went with full serrated due to what I was cutting everyday at the time. Since then it just felt wrong to not have it clipped "tip up" in my pocket. Have never found a knife I like better since, although I could stand to lose the full serration now.

Spyderco Rocks. Well made, sharp as hell and reasonable price.

I never even heard of Spyderco until I joined this forum. Well, I finally got one.
And if you look closely, you can see it's made right here on Earth. So funny. |

For EDC, I love my Spyderco Military. It is a great all around knife.
As a safe queen, I love my M1911 knife made by Ultimate Equipment that matches my Ruger SR1911. I probably will never use it but it looks great!

I've been carrying it for a few days now and it really is perfect. The size and weight are good. It fits my hand really well and my thumb placement is just right. They do put some thought into these.

I have been carrying a Spyderco Police model with the combination blade for about twenty years now. I recently added a Benchmark 890 Torrent to my carry. Two is better than one.

I'm a Spyderco nut myself. Love the Military, but hate that it does not allow for tip up carry. Major bummer in my book. It's the only downside I see in the knife which makes me never carry it. I love the H-1 series especially the Pacific Salt.

| I'm gonna try a Spyderco
Was out at Campmor in Paramus NJ this past week, got a chance to handle the Tenacious. I liked it's heft and feel in my hand. I have a SOG Flash II that has been my EDC for about 6 months now, if the Spyderco had that assisted opening like the SOG has I would be in hog heaven.
That said I like the construction and also the skeletonized handle of the Tenacious, nice and smooth opening, but I like the assist. Orderd one off Amazon today.

I've picked up a few Spyderco knives over the years...here's the latest one. I carry it daily and it's nice to pull it out to use in the professional office and not make anyone nervous, if you know what I mean. Spyderco Slip-it Photo by bullmoose1965 | Photobucket |
