From left to right: WWII U.S. Camillus has three notches carved on it, Vietnam era NY Camillus, Garcia Survival bought new in 1970, KA-BAR bought recently.

Way, way more, than a reasonable man would have.

Not that many really , but one that is special to me is one that Bill Bagwell made for me years ago ... hand forged with a 7 1/2 " blade . I made a trip to Niceville , FL where he had his forge and watched him finish the blade , make the handle and attach it and then put in in the scabbard that was also hand made . Great knife and well balanced , but way too big to carry everyday .

About 160 varied knives

My first, a Buck 105- a 1970 gift from Dad.
But mainly Case, a handful are old, but a lot are newer Canoe style folders.
Several old and one new Marbles fixed.
A couple old custom Ruana's.
An assorted few are damascus.
About 20 fixed I've made myself, mostly from 440c & sent to Texas for treatment, but a few out of old files and saw blades.
AND my favorite, a J. Copley and Sons stag handle folder that was my great grandfather's.

I have not counted lately, But think I have about 150 or so. I mostly have older knives, lockbacks(I have a thing for these) and folding pocket knives. Have everything from Schrade, Frontier, Buck, Case, Camillus, and a few other brands. I think my collecting has taken a turn to hoarding.

Her are some pictures, part of my collection.

Set of Camillus 22LR Rimfire Knives.

Uncle Henry, Schrade, and Old Timer knives.

Remington knife and 300rd Golden Bullet Gift Set, and some advertising gun knives.

Misc knives, Buck, Ranger, Camillus, Etc.

Shrade and Frontier.

Case, Camillus, Buck, Colonial, Etc.

Buck 119, Craftsman knives by Schrade, Old Timers, Uncle Henry, Etc.

I think a better question would've been, how many of you know exactly how many knives you have.

Good point. I don't have nearly as many as in the the pictures above, but I still get surprised when I open up a drawer and see a knife I forgot about.

I have a shoe box full. Fixed blades, folders, a few auto knives, some are name brands, some aren't, but they all have their uses.

Like guns I've bought, sold, or traded various blades over the years. Some I used, broke, or they just got worn out.

These days my collection is modest compared to most, but I only keep knives that I use......

On the left is my Myerchin G10 Offshore System, plain blade, marlin spike, and fitted leather sheath.
At the top is my Myerchin Titanium Captain....(my every day carry)
Below that is the only safe queen collector piece I own, it's a Fire Rescue commemorative by Frost Cutlery.
Under that is my Hogue Elishewitz Tanto.
And under that is my SOG Seal Pup that rides by my side in my Jeep...

I have a couple other blades that either stay out in the garage, or stay with my Fire turnout gear.....

Probably around 20 or so, I keep finding clever places to stash them. I find knives that I completely forgot I have. I carry a Benchmade folder daily. My favorite is a Vietnam era NY Camillus. Got it from an uncle who was a Huey MedEvac pilot. Said it was the one he was issued.

PUMA knife collection

I've been collecting PUMA knives for a couple of years now. At its height I had about 250 knives. However, lately I've been selling some of the interesting ones to bolster the bank account. I probably have around 100 left. Here's a picture of one of the ones I will not sell.

I'm guessing between 50 or 60 various blades. Some large and some small. I have always liked a sharp piece of steel.
