I have a dozen or so knives, but my most favorite one is a 9 1/2" handmade bowie knife made by a guy named Anselmo. Not too impressive until I found out he made the sword and other bladed instruments for the movie "Beast Master". He made hunderds of hand made knives but mostly he made Balisong knives (Butterfly knives). I have tried to research this knife to find out its value but I keep running into a deadend on everything. If anyone has ever heard of Anselmo let me know, it would be doing me a huge favor.

About 10, I think...all of which were made by what I consider to be the finest knife company in the country: Cold Steel! |

| I didn't know we were supposed to count them!
I'm not a big knife guy, but I've had one since I was a kid, which was an Old Timer - a Christmas gift from my Dad.
I'm guessing I've got around 20-30 knives (not counting kitchen knives, which are a category all their own) My favorite is my UltimateGear 1911 locking folder. My favorite EDC is my Kershaw Leek. My most sentimental is my Buck 110 Folding Hunter. My next up on my wishlist is a MicroTech UltraTech with a bayonet blade. I almost bought one this weekend, but didn't have the funds with me. And if I don't have cash for my "toys", I don't buy them.

I've been collecting since about 2004 and I have approximately 200. All of them Puma, all of them older than 1994 when they were all made in Germany. Lately I've been selling a few of them on eBay to supplement my income, LOL

Some knives and guns are as good as money in the bank. Of the few I sold I only lost about $10 on one of them and a profit on the rest.

I have a sterling silver pocket knife dated 1912 that's probobly worth cash just for the silver alone, it's and IXL, George Wustenholm, Sheffield England. I have a carving knife (kinda cheating) but it's stamped 1853 Sheffield England and the company but I can't find the sheet on it and can't read the comany well (understandable as it's 159 years old) and has a red deer stag handle. Beautiful handle! I have a miniuature that's just less than 1/2" long with Ivory handles, pinned and all, it's truly a work of art. I swear I'm gonna get off my butt and try to get them all out and take a pic.
Tony
PS the Microtech "Charges" by pulling the end of the handle back and it appears that it if held I it against somebody it would just bury itself right to the handle in the subject!
