Those really are great American knives. You know several of the Buck knives (not yours) are being made in China these days. It's too bad, however Buck has said that it is gonna bring all the knife production back to the US. Or so I heard.
I wouldn't let that Mexico sticker get you down too much. I'm sure it's still the same quality.
Good looking knife. I know a couple of guys that carry that model and the bigger 110.
We have a fellow at work that can really put a razor edge on them.
A fellow paid me with a new Buck 110 back in 1981 for cutting a couple of trees down next to his house.
Nice knife! Most of the Buck Knives are still made in the USA. The ones that aren't, you can thank the big retail store for! Price point is their only concern.
At least it's still in the North American Continent. I have no problem with leather goods made in Mexico as long as they adhere to certain standards.
You might be surprised at how much gun leather and saddlery were made in Mexico during the old West era. I've heard that people used to seek thm out when looking for fine leather goods.
Besides, it beats the crap out of being made in China!

Ah come on Bob, you can make a made in America sheath yourself! Just run down to the local Tandy Leather Factory and buy some good leather, dye, sealer, a punch, and some thread! It's not as hard as you think!
Wouldn't you rather outsource work to Mexico then have all the Mexicans continue to come here for jobs?
