My wife carries a Kershaw chive. It's and assisted open liner lock that I put a shaving edge on for her. It is a smaller lady size knife and of good quality. Check out BladeHQ on line.

Not a lady by any stretch but what would you like to use it for? My mother used to carry a small Swiss Army Knife in her purse. My wife has her trusty nail file and has me if she needs a knife. I carry a Kershaw auto knife, legal in NH but when I go out of state a Kershaw 1660 Assisted opening knife. It gets used for everything from opening boxes to peeling an orange. In a pinch it would be Custer's last stand if I ran out of ammo.

Wife has a gerber folding knife in her purse and a Buck model 119 sheath knife in her vehicle. Working with horses she carries a pocket knife clipped in her jeans pocket. (She packs a pistol too)

LOL Someone is trying to come up with Christmas gift ideas.

My wife likes to keep a small Swiss Army knife in her purse with the small blade, scissors, tweezers and LED flashlight that turns on when you press the Victorinox symbol.

My wife carries a Benchmade mini griptilian with purple handles and the black tanto blade. She keeps it in her purse or clips it in her pocket. She really likes it.

My wife has carried a spyderco very similar to the link below for years.

https://www.knifecenter.com/item/SP0...-steel-handles

She is gardener so it works well for her job but it has the advantage of being an excellent last ditch self defense tool. When you consider its somewhat natural for an untrained person to flail at an attacker flailing with this in your hand will cause some damage. Think animal claws.

Years ago my wife carried a 6" butterfly knife in her purse. She stopped after I told her those knives were illegal to carry in NJ. You'd expect some sort of tobacco chewing tattooed hard core chick carrying a blade like that but the truth is she's a pu$sycat. Now she carries a very legal, and boring, small no-name 2" folder.
