Awesome!! Thanks guys I looked at some Spyderco didn't like their styles, some ok Kershaws, and some very tempting CRKT (I think that's what it's called)

Anyways went with the Mini Barrage 585 with the 154cm steel. Total came out to $132

The great news is Benchmade contacted me about my Old Balisong and they are going to fix it for me but I'm waiting for the price on that..here's some pics.

The clips are similar but the knife opens differently if that makes sense

I forgot how much sharper a new blade feels. Can't wait to send them my old one!

My support experience with Benchmade is that they tell you it's going to cost X, but then they don't charge you as a customer appreciation gesture. Hopefully that's the case with your bali.

Yep!!! Very nice lady emailed me back and asked for a picture of the old knife, she said we will fix it for no charge!! Amazing, it is in the mail and should be back within 10days!

I wish Benchmade still produced the AFCK. I have one and wish they hadn't discontinued it! Wish I'd bought two of them!

Seriously Benchmade customer service is the best! That's what you get when you pay for 100% made in US. Good looking' knife!

I have had a sizable knife collection for a couple of years now and Benchmade folders & autos are my favorites. Really a quality made knife.

I "tipped" my little Buck just like you did. I simply carefully re-profiled the blade by grinding down the TOP side to meet the remaining cutting edge. It now slightly resembles a drop-point knife but you can't really tell anything was done to it.

Might allow you to keep yours as a backup blade if you desire, or just continue to use it, as I do.
