I have a ton, but the one that is always on my pocket is this leatherman.
Small enough, serated blade, thumb lock, Philips and straight blade Screwdriver. Oh and a 154CM high carbon stainless blade. I am a utility worker/electrician/do-er of it all and it gets used daily. I don't like. Multitool hanging off my belt. This works the best for me. Sadly they discontinued them.

Looks handy, but that is the idea, isn't it?

Very handy. The flat blade I use probably a dozen times a day for screwdriver cabinet locks. I need to pick up a second one in case something ever happens to this one.

It's thin profiled like a normal clip type pocket knife and the high carbon stainless blade keeps an edge for almost ever. I've bought tons and tons of cheaper knives over the years and some weren't cheap. This is hands down the best "tool" I've ever purchased

I have collected knives since my first one I got when I was 7. Still have it too. My years in the USMC Infantry taught me the importance of a Heavy Duty field/combat knife. Since then I have been designing and making my own. I'm not making anything at the moment since I just moved into my new house, and don't have the shop set up yet, but a friend of mine put together a website for me, if yall would like to take a look. Here's a few pics of my addiction.

This one is a Cold Steel Bushman that I modified and Duracoated.

One of my latest projects. Started out as a Black coated plain ESEE 4.
As you can see, I've done a bit of work on it.

Here it is in it's slightly modified sheath.

Forgive me, I have almost a fetish about pairing pistols with knives, so I have a "couple or so" to show.

First, what I don't have pictures of: A Columbia River Indian dagger (repro), a few of my hand made knives, and my EDC Gerber that I carried all through grad school doing research in the mountains on bears and all over Central America.

First post: Historical type knives:

An early 1900's Bisley and 1873 Winnie with a Russell Green River.

Couple of 38-40s from 1900-1910 and a Case Sodbuster.

Mike Leach Bowie and a Colt Signature Series Walker. Hippo ivory on knife:

Not real western but my SASS outfit: Two Colt SAA (Ivory from Boone Trading Co) and custom knife (ivory handle). Watch fob is warthog tusk and hair-pipe is real bone.

Uberti 1860 with a home-made knife:

Uberti Dragoon with home-made bowie (buffalo horn)

Smith lemon squeezer and A.G. Russell Damascus:

Hope I'm not boring anyone! Next up are the hunting knives!

As I said, here are some hunting knives:

A Randall Model 23 with a custom Ruger Bisley. Carried when woods walking in "griz" country.

Colt Commander and Randal No. 1 Fighter:

Lipsey 44 spl and Chuck Stapel knife. I worked with Chuck while I was President of Quail Unlimited in SoCal. Chuck made the knife Quigley down under and several other movies.

My wife's NM 41 mag with another Chuck Stapel knife:

Colt Officer's Model with a Boker:

A Vaquero and another Chuck Stapel, scrimmed by the late Bob Egnath:

A few years ago, a porcupine got ahold of my Randal Model 23. I replaced the handle with buffalo horn to match my OM 45.

My (converted) 41 mag OM Blackhawk and Bark River knife, both with sheep horn:

Last up, just a couple of military knives:

But first, I missed one: A home-made knife in buffalo horn (partially completed) with my OM Blackhawk:

Randall Aircrewman:

A (repro) M-3 Fighting knife. The M-1 is a Korea War vet and the 1911-A1 is a vet bring back from Iwo.

Ozark Trail: 5 Bucks At A Yard Sale

Once again I feel insufficient. I did not use D2 steel, or anything.
Instead I used a 5 dollar bill, but this thing is sharp! It is one of the best deals that I have made, to date.

If I buy another quality knife, it might be something like the Ontario Spec Plus "Kill-A-Bar". (I got the shot from BladeHQ.)
I have liked it from the start, from the time of its intro. It is a scary looking implement.
