Those Benchmade butterfly pictures sure look nice! I've never gotten a butterfly knife, though because I'd probably cut my fingers off!

You can sure tell which knives are used and which knives are shelved.

Wow! There are some outstandingly beautiful knives, amazing collections and excellent photography here. It was enjoyable to peruse the thread.

Thanks to all for sharing. I'm inspired now to dig through various drawers, cabinets, nooks and crannies and see if I can find anything to contribute to the thread. But, I'm afraid my kids made off with most of what I had.

OK, I've scrounged around and here's what I've found. My "collection."

First my newer and nicer ones. These are all assisted opening or full automatic:

Now, here's a few my old, manual folders: Hey! Don't laugh. At least they're all "lock-backs". Well, except for the Swiss Army. I bought that one 40 years ago. It's got a slideout ivory toothpick and tweezers and lots of cool blades.

Nice collection! I think if you're going to collect knives, you don't need to be a knife snob. So even the little Swiss Army is cool.

I wish I had half of all the knives I've lost over the years. I used to always carry an Old Timer pocket folder, as did my dad. He kept his scary sharp with just a whet rock. He had his so long he had ground down the blades very noticeably. But you could always shave the hair off your air with it.

Case Sodbuster Jr, American Cutlery, and Blind Horse Drover.
The Case is my gentleman's knife.
The American Cutlery was my EDC. Now it sits on my desk.
The KHK Drover fixed blade is my EDC work knife.
