using up my amazon gift card from Christmas, I got the top knife:
CRKT M16 big dog!
3.75" AUS8 blade, 9.25 overall length. adjusted the tension screw on the blade, now it opens smooth like butter!

OK, gotta ask . . . has anybody posted photos of any of the Ithaca "Track" series knives from the 1970s? I admit I'm too lazy to search the entire thread.

One of their models, the Wilderness, strongly resembles Rodfac's photo in post #3 clear back at the beginning of this thread. I think that has to be the most well-thought-out design I've seen.
