Very nice blades! Plus some good ideas. Can't post pics yet but carry Buck, Case, Kershaw, & SAK. Not all at once. Wanted to buy a Kershaw that looked like a Buck 112 with micarta panels. Didn't because it was stamped China. Oh well.

These are my edc knives (minus the kabar) which I keep next to my bed on my guitar amp.

Left top: Benchmade 551 (plain edge) in 440C
Left bottom: Benchmade 530 (plain edge) in 154CM
Right top: Spyderco UKPK in CPM-S30V
Right bottom: Douk-douk small in carbon steel

The two on the right I got so I'd have something legal to carry when I go to England, but they've also become my favorite to carry here in the USA. The douk-douk is great for something really flat when wearing nice clothes and slacks (it's also my suit coat knife).
The UKPK sits really low, cuts really really nicely, and has a premium steel that I love keeping sharp.

By the way, every knife in this picture shaves hairs without any trouble. My father raised me to ask the question, "what's the point of having a dull knife?"

I don't carry in my pocket, but the Leatherman tool is normally in my bag with my laptop. The knife blade has come in handy many times.

Unfourtunately that's false, Law Enforcement can nail you for any length of blade no matter what the length of the blade. That being said most officers use discretion on enforcing it. If you didn't use it in a confrontation, or your stopped and questioned, just to be let go, no harm, no foul.

Many people depending on where in Ohio, more country boys will carry, versus city slickers, will carry a knife somewhere, somehow. I do wish Ohio would pass a affirmative law, in black and white, allowing the carrying of a knife as long as it wasn't used in a unlawful manner and would also cover self defense with a knife. But that's only a pipe dream knowing our legislators.

BTW, my EDC alternates between a Black Kershaw Blur (one handed , assisted opening), or a SAK Farmer. Until I found the Farmer, I carried a Imperial Kamp King (Boy Scout pattern knife). So nothing exotic or fancy.

My current EDC is a Kershaw Skyline. If you haven't heard of those check them out, you get a lot of blade in a slim, lightweight, and affordable (~$30 - $45) package. I don't even know I have it on me most the time, but when I need it, it's always there.

I don't have a photo of it, but I carry an Emerson mini-commander and I'm very happy with it. Perfect groove for the index finger and a great size and weight for pocket carry.

I carry an old, beat up Remington stockman with good old carbon steel blades for doing all the chores and right now a CRKT M-21 is handling the one hand opener duties.
