I have to admit, I never got into the habit of carrying a knife. I tend to lose things that arn't attatched to me.

For the past 3 years I have carried a Victorinox SAK Soldier with Alox handles. It's not my favorite knife by a long shot, but it's screw driver blades, can/bottle openers, etc. are just so handy, it gets carried the most.

In FL, I had always carried a Harley Davidson branded knife, not sure who made them.
Hey there fellow buckeye,
We had this conversation at the local range with both cops and civillians. The general consensus is that the law here in ohio is very many shades of grey. The way it is written is that you can carry any knife you want to, from toothpick to bayonette, because it is not considered a concealed weapon. It technically considered a tool untill it is used as a weapon. The problem is who is making that judgement. I've carried a pocket knife as long as i can remember, and in all my encounters with law enforcement, I, when asked if i had any weapons on me, told them about the knife in my pocket, and never had any trouble at all.
My outlook on the whole subject is;
-yes i will have a knife in my pocket whenever leagally allowed, be it backup or primary weapon.
-I'd rather have it and never need it, than the other way around.
-my life is more important than any buerocratic B.S. that tells me what i can or can't do.

by the way, I carry either a kershaw blackout, or chive everyday! Very affordable, and great steel! they both hold an edge for a long time!

My EDC knife is the Spyderco Endura full flat grind. Disappears nicely in my jeans front pocket and is enough knife to handle every cutting task as well as defensive needs. I recommend this knife highly.

I'm the same way with my delica. Never leaves my pocket. I thinned mine down, so I couldn't carry it for a few days (ZDP is some hard steel) and it was the worst couple of days ever.
I love the delicas, have been carrying one in one form or another everyday for the last 15 years or so. Lost a few, replaced them. Good knives.
I've tried a few different Enduras, but they are just too big for a utility knife, I do carry an Endura Wave for social purposes though.
