First knife I bought for myself was an old timer like that. Still wish I had it.

Very nice and useful. Interested in knives myself a lot more recently. Haven't had a collection since I was a kid. Just started buying a few that are made with quality steels and will come in handy for various tasks.

My daily carry used to be the Old Timer version of the folding hunter. It got too loose and I replaced it with Titanium folder. I still think the Old Timer was better.

I have a Case Knife with this same blade design that's worn down pretty bad. I also have a Kabar Knife with the same blade design. Love this classic two blade knives this is the type of knife that I used for many years as my main hunting knife for deer hunting.

Beware if you have to replace it. The "new " old timers are not made in the USA.
