| Whos your favourite hunting partner??
Hey all food for thought....whos your favourite hunting partner..??....I guess when i was a kid it was always my Dad hes now kinda retired from hunting....i have my 16 yr old son and three old and dear freinds that fit that bill but i would have to say when i am out in the boonies chaseing game anything from ducks and pheasants to Deer and pigs with my 16 yr old boy i cant think of a happier place to be ,hes been coming with me since he was around 4-5 yrs old and has certainly now had his fair share of game, theres something very satisying watching your son pull off a great shot varminting or stalk a spiker deer successfully....i cant think of any better pass time to share with my boy...... .
photos of my boy with his first deer 5 years ago in 2005 11yrs old.[IMG] [/IMG][IMG] [/IMG]
this photo was taken this year 2010 15 yrs old

I had a hunting partner for about 35 years. We moved and when I got with the wife she wanted to start hunting. So my old hunting partner still hunts where we did in Georgia and now my new hunting partner is my serial deer killer wife. She does real well and hasn't let many get by her.Actually it was a pretty good switch. Those who hunt together stay together LOL.

My old lady could spot a squirell at 100 yards. She's my best huntin' buddy.

my chocolate lab WAS my rabbit hunting partner, too old now. Next up was the oldest step son, but video games turned his brain to mush. Now the ole lady fits the bill, great shot too |

It has always been my son he went with me since he was old enough to walk. He has become a very good hunter and marksman I could not be more proud of him. We live about 600 miles apart now and he is passing down the tradition to his son and daughter. we are trying to set up an elk hunt in arizona for next year. Here is some pics of my son when he was 9 and also his last two deer hunts
this deer was taken in 2009
this is his archery buck from this year.
I love that smile it hasn't changed |

Your son is lucky to have a role model like you show him the way, You have done well and I know you are proud of him. Hank Williams Jr. said it best in his song"A Country Boy Can Survive" . Hunting is great but knowing that our sons can provide food for their families in times of need is indeed a relief to a father.
