My step brother .... He's only a couple years younger than me (I'm 33) and when we're together in the field its great.... we understand each other's thinking, we get away, farrr away, from other humans, we watch our scent and we often get in some REALLY good spots.

WSM, Does your archery partner ever cheat on you? If not, would she mind if I did? Just kidding - kinda. i hunt with my middle son. He's the only son who lives close enough.

I suspect that my favorite hunting partner will EVENTUALLY be my daughter (who is currently 3y old) ....

... but for now, my favorite hunting partner is my step-brother who is a couple years younger than me (I'm 34). We have the same ethos when hunting and stalking the woods and share the same zeal both for the outdoors, firearms and other related topics. Looking forward to some time in the woods with him this year, too.

My uncle George. Hes been taking me hunting since I was old enough to walk to the tree stand. We've hunted everything over the years from pheasant to moose. He taught me everything I know about taking game. Hes in his 70's and I'm in my 30's now and I'm still learning from him. His eyes aren't what they used to be but his knowledge is still there. We still get out in the woods at least once a year. I'm gonna miss him when hes gone.

I never hunted before. If I did, it would be my dad.

God is my favorite hunting partner, I love the solitude and the opportunity for reflection and after all I am outdoors in His house. My wife says she's going to hunt with me some this year, we'll see if she does or not

My best friend, Ted. We've been hunting together for over 30 years. Sadly my kids aren't into hunting or shooting.
The GSP is my other best hunting partner, Wyatt. We walk miles together every weekend looking for birds.
The young man is Ted's son, a very impressive shot.

I was going to say my Lab, but I think I'll trade you. That's a pair to beat aces.
