Stag show in my neighborhood.

This morning as I was sipping my coffee I saw the local 4 point buck trotting down my driveway. His nose to the ground and he was on a mission. I looked across the street and saw the object of his affections, a very big doe. He stopped and put his nose in the air. The doe took off up and though my neighbors yard. This chasing went on for over 2 hours. He had stopped traffic and people were blowing their horns and screaming at him. As I was eating my lunch when I saw him again, this time with 2 does. As they were running around my back yard, one of the does stopped and he mounted her and she then took off down the hill into the woods. The other doe turned and ran down my driveway and across the street. This buck is not legal in my area to shoot, What shame. I am not allowed to hunt in town. So, I will enjoy the show.

My parents have had similar situations with deer over the years. They have a couple rows of apple trees & grape vines growing on their property. They often see deer nibbling on the fruit. It would be such an easy opportunity for some deer meat, but they don't like the idea of shooting one on their property (even though it's legal where they live). Instead they just enjoy watching them from their front porch & relaxing.
