Good luck! Are you limited to black powder only or can you use other firearms like a single shot chambered in an old cartridge?

Thanks for the well wishes. I need them. Today I missed a doe clean @ 80yds. Georgia requires guns to load from the muzzle. No cartridge firearms allowed. We can scope the rifle though. I was rested @ 80yds, scope set@ 6x, and the shot felt good. No blood or hair found.

I shoot an old CVA Hunterbolt .45 cal rifle. It's an early inline. My load is 90gr Pyrodex under a Hornady Great Plains 285gr lead HP.

New Jersey muzzle loader season is a muzzle loader only but the ones to take a primer are ok. I hunt iwth atc hawken flintlock in 50 caliber.
