Thanks for sharing the hunt. Congrats on the nice antelope.

I like the antelope, elk and muleys that feed on sage. Maybe not as tender as an animal thats been grained up, but I always thought it gave the meat kinda a char broiled steak/ prime rib flavor.

Absolutely delicious .

Yes used the Swift, had planned all along to use it but if the wind was up, I would have switched over to the .270.
The load as follows.

55 gr. V-MAX
W-W case
IMR 8208 XBR 37.GR
CCI BR-2

As the photos show pass thru, I've used what we call varmint bullets on antelope for years in .222 .220 and .243 and have never lost a well hit head of game.
