Galloway precision installed

Just put a new recoil spring, ss guild rod, stricker spring and stricker indicator from galloway precision in my sr9c. I put 200 round through it today and I could not be any happier. My 9c was very nice before and now it's awesome! The stricker spring added a little bit of weight to the trigger pull but I'm completely fine with that. I don't know if any of the part I put in helped but it seemed my grouping was a lot tighter. If you're looking to get rid of some of the plastic in your sr series, galloway is the way to go!!

Thanks for the info. I've been sitting on the fence about the Galloway products for too long. I think I'll go ahead and install on my SR9c too.

Glad to hear...as soon as I've proved the SR45 doesn't need service I plan on dropping in some Galloway parts.

I did not see you mention the ghost trigger ultimate reset bar, i would highly recommend if you do anything to your SR...make sure you drop one of those in too.

Not to Familiar with the ghost reset bar. What does it do and is it a pain to install? I'm defiantly down for anything that can make my 9c better. I've got 300 rounds through it now and I'm really glad I bought it. It's one hell of an upgrade from the kel-tec pf9 I owned before!

Be aware that the lighter guide rod spring can loosen up over time. After about 2000 rounds with the Galloway guide rod, I'm experiencing frequent failures to lock up. Went back to the stock guide rod assembly and it locks up tight every time.

Not knocking Galloway, just a heads up.

I appreciate the info. I put my stock guild rod in a safe place so I can put it back in if need be. What pound spring did you put in? I went with the 16lbs.

I installed the s/s guide rod with the factory 16 # spring. (I also kept the factory one in case it is needed). Looks great and no issues with operation. I was tempted to add the heavier striker pin when I was having light strike issues, but I sent to Ruger and they replaced the striker and strike blocker and so far, 100 rounds and no problems. The Galloway items are quality.
