Hogue grips for SP101

My Hogue cocabola grips arrived today. It took about 5 minutes to install them. Perfect fit, and beautiful wood. But what a change in shooting grip. The extra 3/4 inch length gives my little finger something to grip, and the extra thickness and finger grooves really provide a solid hold. And the wood is beautiful, too, or did I already mention that? What more could I ask!

I went with a set of Badger Grips on one of my SP's but my GP sports a set of Hogue wood grips I honestly like them better ...the grip is fine on the Badgers but I prefer the grip angle better on the Hogue

They sound great and I am sure they feel great.... but how can we tell how they look? I wouldn't mind seeing the grips. I'm always open for a new way to hold my SPs!

For the window shoppers (and I've posted these before elsewhere), the Pau Ferro grips by Hogue are nice:

Ruger's factory Rosewood are nice too (gives an idea of what Rosewood grips would look like from other brands as well):

Of course, every wood grip, like individual fingerprints, are unique and no two are alike, but exotic wood definitely exudes a warmth lost by the modern trend for rubber or composite/plastic grips.
