4" GP 100 Holster Suggestions

I'm looking for suggestions on a holster for a 4" GP 100. I'm thinking that one in molded leather that rides high and close would suit my needs. Anyone out there have a nice holster for their 4" GP they would like to mention? thanks!!!

I like the convenience of a Fobus paddle holster on my 4" GP - no messing with a belt, no need for a strap, plus they're light as a feather. Just slip it under your waistband and off you go. Okay, they're butt ugly, but they are very functional.

Try this one man operation of of MT. Very easy person to do business with and he builds them to last. Send him an email at trailmaster@bresnan.net and he'll send you a pdf catalog of what he does. GPs and Redhawks are his speciality.

Here are several 4" GPs he's made for me.

I picked up a holster for my GP100 4" from Safariland.
It allows for a red dot or other sight. (also works for my Buck Mark)

Is this a CCW? If its a trail gun, the Diamond D leather guide's choice holster is the best period.

I, like NC Gal, also use a Fobus Paddle Holster and yes it is butt ugly but it does the job.

I just received my holsters from Ryan at RGRIZZLE Leather. One is a Georgia Snap for my 4" GP and it is a work of art. Fit and finish is perfect and it carry's very well. Ryan is wonderful to work with and will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Check him out.

Ruger 4" GP100 Revolver...you can't beat the Bianchi leather holsters! I bought one for an SP101 several years ago...and have stayed with them for nearly every pistol or revolver I've owned! My 4" GP100 (see Avatar) cruise's around in one and I can't complain a bit! I love the 'cross-draw' option with the 3-slot holster because in the winter months, while riding in a car, I carry that way so I can slip my hand down inside my coat if needed...instead of try to dig it out from under my coat that's pinned down by the seatbelt! I've had Galco's (nice holster's too) as well as DeSantis holsters...and I prefer the Bianchi holsters!

Model 7 *Shadow® II Pancake-Style Holster Bianchi Leather Holsters

I think the best pricing for them is found on CopsPlus | Police Supply | Police Duty Gear | Tactical Police Equipment
