Let me explain why Laser Max will be the only laser I will consider in the future! Last week for the first time the battery wore out on my new Ruger LCP that came equipped with the Laser Max laser. Since day one the laser worked perfectly but felt a bit odd when activating the laser, since I've never owned a laser system I just thought it was normal. Upon opening the laser to access the battery I saw that the post that allows the ambidextrous switch to be used was in fact broke! I'm guessing it happened sometime during shipping or it was simply a defective part. Anyway I called Laser Max not sure if this would or could be fixed under warranty. To my surprise the fella at Laser Max shipped me a new one at no charge so in less than a week I'm back shooting and all is well. With customer service like that I'll insist on Laser Max when I put one on my Ruger SR40, Thanks Laser Max!!
