SP101 4" Holster

Has anyone seen such a thing?

I have looked at a lot of holsters, but the 4" barrel seems to be pretty scarce. Would the holster for a S&W 4" kit gun do the trick?

I have a holster that says "S&W" on it that fits my SP101 2.75" barrel, but the thumb snap is a bit too short to close properly. It will snap closed, but with difficulty. Shaving a bit off the hammer may be necessary. The frame and cylinder fit snugly enough, though.

The barrel on my 4" SP101 (22 rimfire) may be larger than the S&W. so squishing your gun into a holster may require a little stretching of the leather (or a little judicious scraping on the inside of the holster).

That, or having a holster made.

In the meantime, Uncle Mike's holsters (and other nylon holsters) are pretty cheap and forgiving of sizing, so I would not hesitate getting one of those intended for a Smith.

Good luck.

holster for sp101 4inch

Give Galco a call. When I was looking for a holster for a SP101 3 inch, they did not list one on their site. I called and was told for an extra charge they would make one.

Thanks, I'll order up a couple from Michaels of Oregon, and talk to Lobo and Galco.

Bianchi makes an open slide holster that will work.
