A friend told me I should have the Galloway trigger put on my gun. Anyone here have this done if so your opinion on any improvement? Can this be done by a local gunsmith or does it need to be sent in to have it done? Also what does modification cost?

Personally I would get a Ghost trigger reset bar, get some fine grit sand paper, and get some Mothers polish and save some money. I don't have any experience with them but something about the website gives me an ametuer impression of the company. Like this discription "Cut to shape for cheap easy grip. Does not add much width to the frame but adds TREMENDOUS grip increase". They have been offering an extended mag for probably over a year now and its never going to be available. The way they word everything, its like a 16 year old wrote the website.

I have about 4000rnds through my SR9 and have installed the trigger bar/polished the internals a while ago. My trigger has smoothed out well.

They are gunsmiths not webpage designers. I have there smooth it kit along with the ghost ultimate bar and the Galloway guide rod in my Sr40. There parts are top notch and worth the price. If you have basic mechanical skills and you tube you should be able to install it yourself.
