White Trausch grips for SP101

I just heard about these grips and they sound like they're excellent. But, I haven't located any photos of the Ivory colored ones? Anyone have a set of these. The blacks I can see on the web site. I'm wondering if white rubber grips look classy or cheesy?

I've never seen the white grips, but I can tell you the black ones are really great!
They make my hand feel very comfortable and they've got a little something for
your web as well.

They were decent but added too much bulk to the gun for my taste.

I saved them and now if/when I buy a four inch SP101 I may add them to it.

Maxbob - thanks for the great photo. And thanks Mark and Whitewizard. Can any of you tell me how these compare to the Hogue Combat Finger groove grips?

For me, they fit better. I had a rubber set of Hogue's on this gun before switching to these Trausch's grips. Ultimately, I want a set of wood grips - IMHO they make a gun beautiful! But due to poverty right now, I have these. They fit MY hand perfectly!

I went ahead and ordered a black pair. Concerning wood grips. I tried a set of Badgers. Absolutely beautiful! But the first time I shot a .357 Magnum load they splintered. Mr. Badger refunded my money promptly. I would like to see some of the Hogue checkered wood grips but they are very limited in the photos on their web site.

Those are all the options I tried. I did buy an Eagle Secret Service grip but I need to find a grip screw for it and the factory locator pin seems too short. The Hogue has the best recoil absorbing feel in my hand. The wood version is a little fatter in the hand though but I haven't shot it with that grip yet. The Pachmayr Compac was decent but odd feeling in recoil. I want a short barrel SP101 and it will get the rubber Hogue the second I buy it. The Traush was a size and feel unto itself. It's not that I didn't like it, it was just too bulky for the sexy slim small frame. It's like putting a K frame grip on a J frame from S&W. So if/when I do buy the four inch SP101 then I will try it on that one.

Great series of photos, MaximumBob. I love (LOVE!) the look of good wood, but it just seems the rubber grips handle recoil better. This grip stuff could be an addiction, but the rubber ones really aren't very expensive.

I'm running one on my 4" SP-101 and it's great. I needed something for hiking that I could really hold on to. It's perfect for that, but yea I can see wanting something smaller or smoother for a carry gun.

Ha, "White Traush" grips

In case anyone might be interested I have a new Traush TJ-101 for SP-101s in black for sale. I can't seem to make a classifieds post on it.

Do you know if these will fit the new style SP101-22lr? If so, I am very interested.

trausch white grip

Hey Maximumbob, I read and saw your posting, would you be interested in selling that grip? I just bought an SP101 3", yesterday and that is the grip I want. I am not sure but I don't think Trausch makes it anymore.

These grips can be found on this website - Alfreds Homepage
I ordered a set and they arrived about 1 week later.
They are coming form Germany, so the exchange rate is not preferable, but if you are looking ofr a set of these grips...here they are
