New SR9C and Old Faithful Holster

Hi all, I just bought my SRc9 a couple days ago and had my first opportunity to run a couple hundred rounds through it today. I must say I love the gun, shoots great and feels good in my hands. On Armed American Radio, I kept hearing adds ant the host talking about the IWB holsters made by Old Faithful Holsters. I bought the kit for $32.00 and it took me about an hour to assemble the holster. It's a very comfortable holster and gun fits well in it. I just wanted to talk about it because it's very affordable if you feel up to putting a kit together. Great option for a custom holster. Anyone else have any experience with Old Faithful?

I got the Old Faithful kit too and like you said, had it together in no time. I got the horsehide option. I really like it. It is the first time I had any experience with a hybrid holster. I must say I am really pleased with my decision. It's very comfortable and conceals very well. My only issue is the belt clips are big and have a tendency to scratch chairs and snag on things. I realize that all of them have basically the same clips so this is not an Old Faithful exclusive issue.

I think they are a great affordable option. I like how I could get pre-molded kydex that fit my gun well and all I had to do was trim it to correct size. I like to tinker with things and had a blast building my own holster. What was really nice is I received the kit within three days of ordering it. I have two custom IWB holsters and belt for my SIG 229, that I orderded my Rafters Gubleather and I took almost six months to receive them. I love the holsters but Rafters is a pain. Word of advice to anyone looking for a custom holster, don't use Rafters!
