My EDC is my 3" Sp101. I mostly carry it IWB. My current holsters are a Kholster and a Don Hume 715. I like them both but I think I would like something different. What do you use?

I got one of the galco crossbreed type inside the waist band holsters for my g 27. It works really well for distributing the weight of the gun and also concealing it. I don't carry my sp101 it stays at home for the wife to use. I also use multiple holsters, depending on the type of clothing and which handgun is more concealable for the circumstances.

I use the Crossbreed Super Tuck for my 3 inch SP, after it wears in to your body you hardly notice it's there. 5 o'clock works best for me but if I won't be setting I use it @ 1 o'clock which works just as well.

The SP's aren't lightweight but the size and the rough out leather really work well to distribute the weight. The Crossbreeds are well worth the money to me. After a while putting on your holster becomes part of your morning routine.

Funny - when I saw the topic, I was going to make some sarcastic comment about the IWB holster I use for my Ruger 10-22; however, it appears that a fair amount of people carry the SP101 commonly. While it appears to be a bit large to me, to each his own I guess. Maybe I'll try my GP100 6" for concealed carry in the future :)

For many years I've used a Don Hume H715 IWB for my 3" SP. Left side, appendix carry. I still do, but since putting on some fat it's not as comfortable anymore. I also own an AJ Concealco, but it just never fit me quite right.
Due to the way I dress now I am going to try moving to OWB carry. Sometimes I white shirt and tie it if I have meetings or whatever, but most of the time I am fine in khakis or chinos and a nice polo shirt.
I also try to find this style of shirt that is cut to not tuck in. It's more of a Hawaiian style shirt, but usually without the goofy patterns. They are usually in a silk or rayon. It's really funny, I alway get compliments on those shirts even when not tucked in.

I bought a bunch of leather and am going to try my hand at making some pancake holsters. If I really botch it up I'll be getting ahold of Simply Rugged. I also sometimes do carry off body. I realize the cons of doing so, but sometimes there is no good alternative (like 100 degree weather, in a dress shirt that must be tucked in) and my laptop bag or attaché case do not end up very far from me.
