factory holster

Why not order one from the factory?

I've always had good luck with Triple K.

While I can't get on their website at work, I imagine they make one of their sportsman's flap holsters for the blackhawk. That would work best for me since I use my handguns for sporting use only. The flap holsters do a good job protecting the grips from scratches, nicks, etc.
At the very least, I'd get one with a snap-on strap. I've got a general fear of cowboy holsters that the gun might fall out of it. The last thing you want to do when putting the rig back in the car is to have it fall to the ground.
That's me probably being too paranoid though.

How are you going to use the .357? The holster I use doesn't conceal well, but in open-carry it's fine. If that's what you're looking for, I can figure out what it is when I get home.

Blackhawk Holster

Today I received my custom "Conceal Carry" holster from Western Star Leather out of Boulder City, NV. It is a pancake style holster built to fit my 4 5/8 in .45 Colt. I have to say they did a beautiful job on it. The leather, crafsmanship and especially the basket stamping is just top notch. They specialize in all types of Western rigs and gear and I believe this is the only style of this they make. But they are a custom shop so can most likely make up just about anything. My Blackhawk fit like a second skin and the Chestnut dye is a good match for my grips. Yes I am a happy coustomer.

You could try Hunter Holsters too.
I just got one for my 9.5" SRH and am happy with it.

Either a holster from El Paso Saddlery or one from forum member Southerngunner. This is one he made for my Bisley

can be worn strong side or crossdraw-or you can order it just strongside. El Paso has TONS of great leather.

I use Galco SAO Holsters for all of our blackhawks and love them. Retention strap and the ability to use crossdraw or strong side. Excelent stitching and top quality leather. We use them every day and have never had a problem with them. Shop around online, i think i paid around $65-70 for my Super Blackhawk holster recently.
