Hogue a1

Even on my S&W 617 22lr 8 inch bbl had Square butt factory Combat wood grips, i took them off and put finger grove HOGUE grips and with its 8 inch bbl the rubber meets the road and hugs your hand on any gun i have had and i am a wood lover! thanks john

Also on the tamers on my .454 SRH. With most all the others I am good with stock.

On the GP100 I'm slowly replacing the Hogue factory grips with the Lett. Nothing wrong with the factory Hogues just wanted to dress the gun up a bit. The Letts feel a bit fatter in the hand but even with smooth panels the grip doesn't slide in my hand. On my old model Redhawks I replaced the factory wood grips with Hogues due to the factory grips were to small. I'm actually betwix and between.

Ahrends!!!

Oh wait, he won't make them for anything but S&W...

I vote none of the above since I have yet to find a GP100 grip that I really think is perfect. The Lett rubber with inserts is ok but tears up inside. The Hogue has the camel hump. The Pachmayrs squeeze open under recoil. I just can't win still. I keep meaning to order a set of Eagles to try next. So I guess " Don't Care".

It depends just what grips came on the gun I have always favered wood grips over the rubber ones but they are not always practical

Depends on the weapon for me, the auto's are fine with stock grips, but the stock wood on my 357 beat me up. i have a pachmar on it now and its a pleasure to shoot, even with the hottest loads i can find. i also put a pachmar rubber wrap around on my 22/45 just to thicken up the grip a little.

Hogue grips are great

Put the Hogue cocabola grips on today and love them. The stock Ruger grips were too small for my hands. The Hogue grips gives me much better control of the gun.

(edit to add: I should really check dates before contributing to necros. My humblest apologies )
SecuritySix w Pachmyrs
P-91 DC w/ Hogues
SR1911 w/ Hogues

I love the look of wood, but the rubber finger grips function better for me. My Springer champ and SP-101 have rubber finger grips as well.

I've only ever shot my P89 with Hogue grips on it (though I have the original plastic Ruger grips as well) and my new SR1911 got switched to Hogue panels after one outing with the original grips. I like how the SR1911 looks with the stock grips, but find the Hogues much more comfortable when shooting.

All i know is my p95 is dead nuts and stone reliable everytime with no grip, and I put one mag through my brothers p95 with a hogue slip on and had one fte with it. Whether that was the grip or ammo or what I dont know but I depend on my p95 so no grip for me.

I have the Hogue grips on my GP100, and it feels great in my hand, but I would like to try the Lett grips, I like the look.
