I don't know enough about holster making to truly appreciate that. It looks impressive and you've surely got skill!
But...
That gun is sweet! That holster needs to be nice b/c that piece needs a good home.

Nice work, nice gun.

Beautiful work! Do you only make 'em for SA revolvers or do you also make them for DA's & 1911's?

Thanks for the comments ,If I have a gun to use for the pattern I will try to make whatever you want. I am working on a "Wild Bunch" style holster for a 1911 as we speak. When it gets done I will post some pics. My double actions all consist of S&Ws but I have a few of them to choose from

The stamps that I used for the barbed wire came from Tandy Leather . I wish I could do the old style carvings but I don't have the tools, patience or talent to do those.

Thanks for the reply

Hey Ruger41, Thanks for your responses to my work, by the way does the antler on those grips look familiar?
A friend of mine asked me if I could make a Wild Bunch style holster for him this is what I came up with.
I still have to put a retention strap or hammer loop on it and he also wants a dual mag pouch and shotgun shell holder made as well.

Sorry about the crappy photos but it's getting late and I wanted to get these on

Ruger Sheriff Holsters,my favorite!!

These are the most fun to make, picked up the revolver and a sewing machine for saddlery and
jumped in head first, quite the nice little side business too.
Spending hours hand carving and tooling, coming up with designs is the most challenging

Very slick, I like the barbed wire. It gives personality to the holster.
