Holster for a scoped MK III?

I've scoped my MKIII (photo below) with a Weaver 2X20 Classic Handgun Scope and have been carrying it in the woods a little. I'd like to carry it more but don't have a holster.

I am happy the MKIII and very pleased with the scope--but my browsing through catalogues hasn't turned up a holster that will work with it.

I'd appreciate any suggestions forum members might have.

Thanks!

Here you go: TACTICAL SOLUTIONS, LLC : RUGERŪ MARK I/II/III BLACK MAX HOLSTER - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools

The top is open for optics.

Edit: more info: http://www.gunblast.com/BlackMax.htm

Your scope seems like it's mounted more forward than most. Can it be brought rearward any? If not, I'd imagine a little time w/ a Dremel and you could possibly modify that holster to work.

Hope that helps!

Buffgun . . .
I'd love to see the pics if you don't mind posting them.

The scope is where it is because of the limits on where the rings can be placed.
I used the existing grooves in the rail for the recoil lugs on the Grand Slam rings. I could slide it back a little, but I like to keep the rings from getting too close to the reticle erector housing. Eye relief is great with the scope set here--not critical at all.

Thanks for the links--I'll check it out.

Thanks for the link, I'll check that out, too.

Boy howdy, you get quick results on this forum.

Thanks for the suggestions!!

Sportsmans Guide

Sportsmans Guide Has a good looking holster for Ruger Mark series pistols. It is made of quality leather and you can use it with scope attached . It sells for 69.00 or 62.00 depending on weather you have a member ship or not. They also have one that is not for scoped pistols, and it is lower in cost.

I got one of the tactical solutions holsters for my 22/45 LITE. After using it a few times I dont really care for it. I thought it would be coot to have at the range, which is the only place I carry my LITE, but instead every time I go to reload or put the gun down thats exactly what I do. I dont use the holster.

I paid $35.99 plus shipping. Id be happy to sell it to you for less, and on top of that if it doesnt work Id give you your money back less shipping. I think shipping it back and forth would cost as much as the holster though depending on where you are at.
