Mark IV upgrades

Here are the upgrades I have made, or have on order for my Mark IV blue Target Model:

Eagles Talon extractor
"V" notch rear sight
HI VIZ front sight
VQ Accurizing Kit
Halo Charging Ring
Right Side safety lever removed
Walnut grips w/left side thumb rest from Eagle Grips.

Hope my wife doesn't look at our VISA bill

I recently purchased the Mark IV Target and have been trying to decide between the V-notch rear/HiViz front sights or the Williams Fire sights. Also looking into the VQ Accurizing kit, since I plan to get into steel challenge.

My Hi Viz front sight came with a pinkish colored light pipe installed. I changed it to the green and I like it better. I like the "V" notch rear sight.

Looks like a great list of mods!

I put a set of the Williams Fire Sights on mine and really like them.

I would certainly agree with some of these, but are you having excitation issues? I am considering getting a mark4 but I have never had the first moments trouble out of the stock extractor on my mark 3 in almost 3000 rounds shooting everything from cheap bulk to regular minimags. Very curious as to why you would need one so soon after getting your pistol. thanks in advance.

As for the extractor change. No, I haven't had any extraction issues yet. I had a few with my Mark II and my 10/22 which I cured with the addition of an aftermarket extractor. With the Mark IV, I am just trying to head those problems off at the pass. It was a cheap and easy upgrade, so why not.
