Holsters for women.

Hello all, my wife IWB carries a LCP in a clock tuck 3.0, we are looking for another option. We came across this; The Well Armed Woman Pistol Pouch by Thunderwear through another post on here. Does anyone have any other recommendations or even experience with the linked one? Any and all words are welcome. Thanks guys!

My wife has a few holsters and belly bands, a couple of leather and a Fobus but the friction holsters are her favorite and a Sticky in particular and or a couple of Remoras depending on what she's toting and what the activity is.

She carries a 38 spl JFrame in her car in the Sticky but some times its a Colt 1903 32acp or LC9s, Bond Derringer (if you can really call it that) in 45 LC and will borrow my 22 mag Black Widow by NAA .

My daughter likes the Crossbreed modular belly band. It is nice because it has an actual kydex holster for her gun. Others just have a "pocket" the weapon fits into. Not really a holster in my opinion.

She looked into the belly band, she isn't sure how it would feel to wear something across her stomach all day, or for the time she would be out. That's why she was asking about the linked one in the original post. The sticky looks promising but we are curious about the life span of the stickiness, do any of you know how long it lasts? Also, we aren't really looking for another kind of traditional IWB holster, something more like the linked holster. Thanks again in advance!

Didn't know Thunderwear was still around.

When I worked behind the counter in our sandwich shop, I used a similar setup made by a different manufacturer. It worked well, but I have quite a bit of "overhang" in that area...

One thing I remember is that the belt part rode up in the back and was visible from behind...

However, I cannot speak for how it works for a woman, as I am not one, nor have I ever identified as one...

Not all women are the same, or have the same preferences. I believe most people who carry end up with a box of holsters, we have. My wife finds the belly band holster uncomfortable. She also did not like using a shoulder holster.

She prefers two forms of carry OWB open carry, and off the body purse carry. Now I am not a fan of purse carry, but it is her choice. I have discussed my concerns with purse carry with her though. Purse carry can offer some advantages, like with a purse designed for carry a woman can be at the ready without brandishing.

I still don't advocate off body carry, but in the end it is up to the lady. OP you might want to invest in a plastic storage tub for holsters until she gets it the way she wants.
