Definitely get a quality rig. I've heard good reviews on EL Paso. I also got a holster from Mernickle's recently and can say it is a fine piece of leather. The prices seem high, but it's important to have a quality rig. I've got stuff from Cowboy Leather Co as well.
If you're just starting Triple K stuff is ok, but I'd recommend just saving for a better rig if $$ is an issue. You'll have a nice rig forever so a good quality one for $300 is the way to go in my opinion.

El paso speed rig is definitely my first option if they would answer their phone. Also looking at some mernickle holsters but I'm goin to give them a call tomorrow.. just looking for something that will last a long time and is good for cas

The only negative I've heard on EL Paso is their customer service is lacking a bit.
There are several quality makers out there. I'd talked to Mernickle though. The high rise holster I got is really nice.
