I keep buying different holster looking for the right one. But with warm weather & your body heat. I keep falling back to alien gear, The neoprene is comfortable, I have to wear a 2nd shirt with leather & Kydex when it warms up. The Alien gear hides better then leather.
Still looking for the perfect holster.
I did find the greatest belt, Cross breed with Ares buckle is best purchase Ive made

It has a been a long time since I used a IWB on a regular basis. I have a Galco for a full sized Glock that's a good rig.
I used a Milt Sparks Summer Special for a Colt Commander for years. There's nothing better on the market in my opinion.
I've also used a Mitch Rosen IWB holster and it was top notch as well but frankly a bit over priced.

An IWB holster MUST be equipped with a reinforced opening so that the gun can be re-holstered with one hand. Without that feature the holster will collapse when the gun is withdrawn. The lack of a reinforced opening is an absolute deal breaker for me.

Which specific belt was it? Also, can't find a reference to an Ares buckle. What does it look like?

Thanks

I personally don't think the belt plays the important role for IWB as OWB. The belt wrapping around the pants, holster and gun -- it won't move much.

The clip can make a difference too. I prefer the wide clip as in this photo. By the say...this is a S&W M&P .40 full size. I made the holdter about 1+ ago and it is my favorite. I have 4 others but always go to the Kydex. It is thin and reduces the printing bulge.

If you want it to be "really cool" take a look at these. Pretty awesome. www.insanekydexcreations.com | Custom Quality Made Gun Holsters

I've become quite fond of Everyday Holsters. They're of the hybrid type, make in Kentucky (If I remember correctly) and have a lifetime warranty. They can be had for $40-$50 I have probably 4 or 5 for various pistols and like every one.

^^^ Everyday Holsters brings you the most comfortable holsters for Concealed Carry while still offering the best concealment

Very fair pricing.

Foxx holsters for me, relatively inexpensive comfortable and ship quickly. Many cool designs to pick from too if it matters to you for their kydex. I gave up on leather, found the kydex generally being slimmer made carrying more comfortable.

Another vote for the Uncle Mike IWB! The only one I use with my 1911s.

Ignore the thumbs down icon. That was a boo boo!

I've tried a lot of different IWB holsters. Crossbreed makes a good product but I think they are pricey for what they are, which is just a kydek holster. I mostly carry revolvers and for some reason they refuse to make a holster for anything larger than a J frame. So I now order most my IWB holsters from Lobo Gun Leather. Really like their Offset Belt Clip model and Belt Loop model. And best of all they will make them for any K, L, N frame, Security Six, GP100, or Redhawk.

I've been using a leather/kydex combo for my LC9s Pro for almost two years and it's been great. Little known make, Raw Dog Tactical out of Texas.
