SR9 / Viridian laser deal

Any thoughts on this deal? I'm a bit torn over whether or not it's worth it.

Viridian Green Laser Sights - Buy a Ruger SR9, Get a Viridian Green Laser Sight 50% Off

The site doesn't mention it, but the flyer that came in the gun case also indicates it comes with a holster. Has anybody taken advantage of this promo? Worth it?

I did it. Bought the laser and it came with the holster.

I went to the range to sight in the laser and after every shot the battery cover pops off. I've tried to contact veridian several times and the are non-responsive.

If I had it to do over, I'd buy $150 worth of ammo

Just curious, but how much $$$ do you feel the holster would have been worth on it's own?

I picked up that same combo at a pawn shop a while back for $300 OTD which was a pretty good deal. I wound up trading it a few weeks later for a rifle and never shot it but it was a cool combo.

Take a look at the LaserMax uni red & green matchbox lasers! I have the red on on my SR9 and love it no problomes at all.

I took advantage of the Viridian Green Laser when I bought my SR9. I have not had any problems with mine and it seems to be a great product. I shot with it on at the range for a while but frankly I shoot better with the iron sights and I would never consider carrying with the laser attached. It is fun and looks cool but it does not serve any purpose for me. I look back now and I probably would have not bought it but I did and I am not looking back now. The holster that it came with IMO is junk. I normally like Blackhawk holsters but I do not like this one. Here is some eye candy for you though. The holster in the picture is not the one that fits the SR9 with the Viridian attached. \
