Every gun is a law unto itself .... especially with Ruger so yours may be perfect. I didn't know mine was rubbing until I really started looking at everything hard.

On mine, the hammer would also catch the side of the frame just before hitting the transfer bar. The tolerance is tight in this area and the hammer had enough side to side play to kind of bounce off the frame.

Wiggle your hammer from side to side and see if it contacts the frame. If it does, shims can prevent this. If it doesn't then you are good to go.
