The names of the people I want each gun to go to, when I no longer need them. In an inconspicuous place of course.

Nothing, I like them just the way they are.
Too much lawyer talk on them now.

I'd like to engrave the left side of the barrel to look like nothing's written on it.

A friend of mine has some fancy scrolling on his 1911 and it looks great. I would do something like that since he hasnt gotten bored and sold it to me yet?

I just built a DIY 1911 and it's very plain as it is now. I don't want much but I'm going to have my handle engraved inside a folded banner with a little scroll work to dress it up. I finally found an engraver locally that can do it.

I'd rather spend the money engraving would cost me for ammo and training.

Ohhh, you beat me to posting this thread. LOL
I saw a craftsman at a gun show, took his business card just in case I had a bright idea & promptly lost the card. Hopefully I'll see him again, he was really awsome. If I get his info again I'll post it. He did carvings on stocks too.

I once saw a Colt Detective Special at a gun show that already had my initials engraved in it. Im pretty sure it was a sign, but my wallet didnt agree.
