Brass Plating frame???

I just scored a new/used frame off of Gun broker with the plans of doing a slight round butt modification. At first T was thinking of having it anodized black or gun-koted but now I'm thinking of getting it brass plated.

My question to you all is have any you done or seen this done on an aluminum grip frame? Any suggestions on where to have it done and possible price?

Thanks

Jerry

You MIGHT be able to have it anodized to a brass color. Anodizing is both a color and hardening process....AR15 aluminum receivers are anodized; so are RUGER aluminum grip frames and ejector rod housings.
