Improved cartridge feeding problems

I have a 77Mk11 in 220Swift which has been opened out to 220Ack imp.
I now have the problem of the second and subsequent bullets feeding from the magazine. I am not sure if the magazine floor plate is the problem(because of the widened neck area). It fed perfectly before the conversion, so I was wondering if it would improve the situation if I replaced the floor plate with a 243 one from Numrich. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
