Target sight

The most enjoyable pistol I've owned for five years is this MKIII. I shoot thousands of rounds a year, and have tweaked the gun a bit periodically. Now I would like to add a target style rear sight. I'd like some advice re; if the stock front sight is compatible, and existing rear dove tail will work with the Ruger target sight. And if it'll all work, the best source for the sight. Thank you in advance for your comments and suggestions

The rear dovetail will work with a factory adjustable sight. You'll need to replace the front sight blade due to the taller adj rear sight. I believe Volquartsen makes a taller front blade for just this purpose.

Rear sight assemblies can be found at shopruger.com, Midway, Brownells, eBay, etc...
