10/22 magazine jamming in butler creek stock

Put on my new Butler Creek 10/22 folding stock, but the rotary magazine jams inside and needs to be pried out. It appears that the synthetic stock is squeezing the mag at the back end. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? I don't really want to start filing the inside of the stock. Maybe a spacer of sort on either side of the trigger assembly would spread the stock enough?

Welcome to the forum. You may not want to, but your best approach is probably filing the magazine chamber in the stock. Other option might be to see if the seller will replace the stock with one that will work better. Not sure how shimming would work.

Try different mags. If they all stick, lightly sand the inside mag well. Not a big deal. If only one sticks, can try sanding the mag only. Pretty common, esp with the plastic/rubber stocks.

Thx. I ended up sanding the sides of two clear mags - a fair amount actually, but they slide and eject nicely now. Thought about installing a fine screw on each side of the front plastic trigger assembly to act as spacers, but went the mag route. Bush fix!
