Gunsmith in SF Bay Area

Can any one recommend a gunsmith in the SF Bay Area?

I have some work I would to have done that I am too afraid to do myself.

Thanks.

Good post. I should have done this myself. I just shipped my M-77 to another state.

Two places come to mind. Imbert and Smithers in San Carlos and Tabors shooting supply in San Bruno. I used I&S for some work a long time ago, about 20 years and was happy with the work. Never used Tabors but heard a lot of good things about them. http://www.taborshooters.com/

My two local gunsmiths (Petaluma) are pretty much gone. One is now retired, and the other was two brothers, where the 'smith half of the pair passed away a few years ago.

There is Gately Gunsmithing, in Santa Rosa. He used to be next to the now-defunct indoor range in Cotati.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but since it covers the exact subject that affects me too, figured it's better than starting a new one.

I have a replacement trigger for my Mini-14 Ranch Rifle 582 Series I need done by a gunsmith.

Any recommendations for places in the Bay Area to do that? Preferably in the northern East Bay around Walnut Creek/Concord/Vallejo.
