I bought a new never even used it Ruger 10/22 mag, and the first time I tested it with 10 rounds in it the first round chambered none of the others did. Then I tried it with 2 round in it and they both chambered, but it will not work with more than 2 rounds in it. When the mag is full the rounds seem loose in it and if I shake it, it sounds like a rattle, it seems as if the spring is'nt holding the rounds tight enough for the bolt to strip the rounds off. If you guys can understand what Im trying to say, is there any cure for this?

Dead Eye, Yes, the magazine has an adjustment for roter spring tension. After you get 10 posts, check out the 10/22 IBOK in the Library. It details how to adjust the tension.
Iowegan,
Thanks again for this info, Im sure the tension is not tight enough, with a few rounds in the mag I can turn it upside down and some of the rounds will just fall out!!
