I've entered quite a few, and no wins.

I figure if I win something I don't like, I can trade it to the receiving FFL shop for something I do like.

Yes! I don't know if they're still doing it, but several years ago Lyman use to have a contest coupon in every owner's manual, book, or reloading manual. I was always filling those cards out (postage on my end) and low and behold one day I got the notification. I had won one of their fancy black powder rifles with a tang sight and everything. It was 50 caliber and was one of the finest looking black powder rifles I had ever come across. Smithy.

No, but a friend and a coworker did. Both of these were at fundraisers.

Years ago I won a shotgun as a door prize at a Ducks Unlimited fund raiser dinner. Sold it that night to the guy sitting beside me.

No. I have been signing up at grabagun.com religiously. This month is a Ruger 1911.

I won a Kimber Custom II from a Friends of the NRA raffle. Shocked the livin' you-know-what out of me. Of course nothing since then but I think I've paid them back from all the other raffles I've entered.

I did not. But when I was a licensed fire arms dealer I sold a gun to a black powder group three years in a row that raffled them off. The people that won them had to com to me to fill out the paper work. None of these gun were black powder. Two rifles and one shot gun.
