I'm getting ready to welcome a new addition to my family. After a lot of research & shopping/fondling, I've finally narrowed the field down to a couple of choices. I'm either getting an SR9c or a Walther PPQ. I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else is dreaming of. :D

i just watched a heck of a documentary about the remington 700 over the weekend. seems they've had trouble with fatal misfires when putting the safety on and bringing the bolt back to unload it. hope they've figured that one out-- the video was a tad hazy on whether it was all worked out at this point (either that, or i may have fallen asleep at that point-- it was a little late for me), or whether they were still selling the problematic ones. incredibly popular rifle, nonetheless.

given that i just satisfied my lust for a shotgun, already have a couple 10/22s, and a P95 for home defense, my next gun is either a small 9mm for ccw, or a 22/45 for fun plinking and targets. can't really decide which i'm more interested in, as they're two entirely different purposes.

I would really like a Stainless SR1911...but have started an AR build...so it'll have to wait!

M77 standard Hawkeye in .223 (if I could ever find one)
Or an old M1 Garand

My thoughts as well. Next I want a 1911, however our choices in California are limited, as is the supply of those that are approved for sale.

After my last purchase I finally find myself at peace with what I've got. I've got a couple on the want list but it's not bugging me that I don't have them. But that longer range list includes a Browning Citori, a Mark III pistol and a 10/22 take down. All three would fill a few gaps in my collection. Another I'd love to find when I can afford it is an M1 carbine in good condition.

But this feeling is odd and I've had it for about two months now. My bank account really appreciates it! :D

After the SR 40 N SR 1911 I got this year , me thinks I would like to get a 1911 Springfield loaded next .In a wet dream a Barrett 50 bmg and a desert eagle 50 would be nice

1. Either a Springfield EMP 40 or a Kimber Ultra TLE have been comparing the two for a couple months and cannot decide which one I want for the life of me.

2. Glock 19? Maybe. Don't know if I want to roam down that dark path yet

Of course neither of these guns will compare to my first loves, my rugers(SR40c,LC9,SR1911). But, increasing my gun collection can only hurt my wallet not me so...

I have of late been looking at the GP100 or SP101 stainless in 357 magnum.

I never know what my next gun will be. I go looking for a specific gun or caliber and see something totally different that needs a new home. I went looking for a heavy long barrel varmint rifle in .243 and came home with an eight inch barrel Colt Anaconda .44 magnum. I went looking again for the .243 rifle and came home with a six inch barrel Colt Trooper Mk III .357 magnum. I am still looking for the .243 rifle.

More than likely a 10/22 and then an LCR chambered in 22lr for my wife....she has a thing for revolvers......
