Anybody else come home from a trip out of state (that you cant bring your guns on) and get excited to get back to your guns like a parent excited to see their kid home from college? Or is it just me?

LOL... ...As a resident of a free state, Arizona, and doing business often in California, I think I know the feeling you are describing. It seems the states where I feel the greatest need to be carrying a gun are the same states that deny me that right.

When I go into new York which is somewhere I'd absolutely feel MUCH safer with my gun I go to jail for a year if I'm found with it. Therefore it stays home. Once I get home it's a sweet reunion. Almost like its my child I guess. Makes me realize I missed the little guy haha

Har! We are from NY and no mater where we go we're out of luck. Nobody lets us carry.
How's that for an American constitution?

| Yep, I flew to CA on Memorial day and felt naked the whole time there. To make matters worse, I was bringing my LC9 to give to my son. I've never wanted to carry that LC9 more than I did then.

Maybe the reverse? I currently have a gun away at "Ruger College" in New Hampshire, and I'll feel like dancing when it comes home..........
Otherwise, when I get home from a trip I'm always glad to just see everything in my house undisturbed. With the current economy, burglaries are up just about everywhere.

Felt like that when my SR9 was being serviced at Ruger for a week. When I got it back it was like RANGE TIME!!!!

I just avoid going into those states with the draconian laws if I can. When I moved from Ct. to Pa. I transported my gun collection as I didn't trust the movers (they looked like a bunch of gang-bangers). Of course I had to drive through New York. If they would have caught me, Bloomberg probably would have sent me to Guantanamo Bay. It's nice to live in a free state.....
