Yes this is ready to be deployed complete with 4 ammo cans 200 rounds linked each. The glock 19 gen 4, 18.5" sxs 12 gauge, and 1 ar15 loaded with a full 30 round magazine will allow me to get to it.. Yes I am serious.

Well, I have my intruder alarm signs posted, a "Gun Free" zone sign, a rape whistle, and 911 on speed-dial. I think my bases are covered.

Seriously. Whatever gun or rifle I have handy. I'm tripping over guns and they're always loaded.

Ar15 with lots of mags if I'm home. Otherwise I reach for my lc9 or lcp II.

I misread the OP.
so in case of SHTF, my options would be one of my AR's - spikes and aero precision
or one of my AK's - Arsenal SGL21 and WASR10

Day: EDC is a Glock 36 in .45 acp...very accurate! Have quick access to a .30-30 lever rifle if needed.

Night: Bedstand gun is a Glock 30SF, also in .45 acp...+ wife's Remington 870 Tactical in 20 GA with #3 shot...which is a very effective round in close quarters.

We live in a smaller city that is adjacent to a larger city...not much crime in our neighborhood but still have a safe.

Blue. I had two converted by xwingband and jedisabersmith back in the old days.

Right now I have my suppressed MPX doing nightly duty (only have it out to remind me to clean it)

SR9C for my wife, CZ 75B and RIA 1911 for me.

No long guns. I just couldn't get myself to buy an AR or AK with the silly and just recently prohibited bullet button. Also, not a shotgun fan.

GP100. It is effective on stopping perps, I can shoot it accurately, less overpenetration concern with JHP, and small enough for me to have on me always, and I can go from room to room and stay on target if I need to get out or move to my preferred defense spot for a longer term hold until help arrives. I am also looking at additional tools for other scenarios. Studying up mow, case by case.
