A good preliminary day with my 22/45

Weather was nice enough to go to the range today. About 50 degrees but 30mph winds. Good thing I wasn't testing for accuracy, only for reliability of a few different brands of ammo and some new magazines for my Ruger Mark III 22/45.

Breaking the gun in, I used 300 rounds of CCI Mini Mags and didn't have one malfunction. I also used Agila Super 40 grain coated bullets. These worked real well but one did not go off during testing.

Remington Hyper Velocity was a real bust. Would not feed out of my magazines. I guess I'll have to tune the mags and give the Remingtons another try.

CCI Blazer were 100% and so were Federal AutoMatch.

I also tried some Mec-Gar magazines. Of the 5 mags I had 2 didn't work while the other 3 were flawless.

All my Ruger magazines worked with no problems.
