I was at a local Academy store Saturday and the over purchased the taurus PT-101 .40 for Christmas sales and were trying to sell them off before they sent the rest back out this week.

I got new in the box 5" barrel + 2 16rnd mags for $299 and I put over 100 rounds through it Sunday must fmj but about 30 jhp and it cycles slicker than snot on a glass doornob

any opinions on the gun or the deal Would be very welcome so let me know what you think about the PT 101's

I got one shoots great ordered hogue grips makes a world of difference got about 1500 rds and going strong

Great guns no doubt about it. They get a bad rap sometimes but both of mine shoot really well and haven't had a bit of trouble with them. Pretty good deal you got there too.
