Yeah, they all thought it was funny!
I found it hilarious!
I'm not a fan of the AR because they are so complicated, compared to my Mini-14.
And I seriously doubt if that would have stopped the Mini!

you are correct about not stopping a mini 14 or a full size M 14. I don't thing that would have even fazed one.

I watched a guy react that way to a table saw that wasn't working like he wanted it to and he took off two fingers.

Having had both a 14, and a 30 in years past, I tend to believe that.
After just recently studying up on and purchasing my first AR, without knowing a thing about them beforehand, I have to say that I am very impressed with the mechanics, and even the simplicity of it.
Design and function are my first love when it comes to all firearms.
...And I wish I still had those Minis.
